Christmas Break Schools will run December 23 at the Halifax Forum/Civic Arena complex. Christmas Break Schools will feature Power Skating with Marie Bowness in the Halifax Forum and Puck Handling / Shooting in the Civic Arena. Note the schedule will allow players to do both programs with a thirty minute break between sessions.

Our 2025 Spring/Summer Schools information is now on the website. We will offer our Spring Specialty School as well as three summer weeks featuring our Forward/Defenceman school week, Power Skating week and finally our Bedford Hockey School week. We recommend you book early as this past spring and summer all our schools were full.
In 2025 we will continue to have our reduced group sizes of 24 participants. This will continue to give us the opportunity to enhance our individual player attention that we are known for.
We offer discount rates for group bookings, families and multiple schools.
Our fee structure offers significant savings to the many players who register for more than one of our schools throughout the year. Make sure to register early and become eligible for our early bird draws.
Tom Duffey Hockey Schools, now in its thirtieth year, sets a Canadian and International hockey school standard for comprehensive skill development. We offer schools throughout the year in Halifax and Bedford Nova Scotia.

Each player comes to us with needs and expectations. We assess current ability and offer suggestions that will bring improvement in specific skills and competitive edge whatever the goal - to enhance enjoyment at the recreational level, to make a rep team, or to compete at the AAA level.
Our schools offer several types of programs. Some focus on specific skills, some provide pre-season or mid-season preparation, others focus on the refinement of the talents and attitudes needed for competition at the highest level.
